Daoliang Li, professor and PhD supervisor, College of Information and Electrical Engineering, China Agricultural University.

The main research direction is aquatic intelligent information processing and agricultural and rural information strategy. Director of the National Innovation Center for Digital Fishery, director of Beijing Engineering and Technology Research Center for Internet of Things in agriculture, deputy chairman of the Agricultural and Rural Information Expert Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture, executive director of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineering, Changjiang Scholar Distinguished Professor. Selected as the leading talents of the Ministry of Science and Technology‘s Ten Thousand Talents Project, in the leading talents of young and middle-aged science and technology innovation project, as outstanding talent in agricultural research, and a new century talent, he is the winner of National Innovation Award, Winner of China Youth Science and Technology Award, National Outstanding Science and Technology Worker, winner of Henry Fok Education Foundation. The current chairman of the Agricultural Information Processing Branch of the International Federation of Information Processing, Editor-in-Chief of Information Processing in Agriculture (Elsevier Journal, EI-indexed), an expert of the National Rural Informatization Steering Group, and the executive director of the China Fisheries Internet of Things and Big Data Industry Technology Innovation Alliance, won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award as the first completion person, 3 first prizes of provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological progress, 74 national invention patents authorized, 7 monographs published, published 128 SCI papers and 158 EI papers as the first author or corresponding author, formulated 4 national standards, and 7 industry and local standards, His research result "Accurate Measurement and Control Technology for Intensive Aquaculture Farming" was selected as one of the top ten scientific and technological advances in China’s smart manufacturing in 2019.

Dr. Wensheng Li

Wensheng Li, vice president of Mingbo Aquatic, senior engineer, he was awarded the honors of the young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions in Yantai City and the "Qilu Master" of Shandong Water Transport System. He was also an off-campus postgraduate tutor at Ocean University of China and an industry professor at Qingdao Agricultural University. In the past five years, he has participated more than 10 major national projects include the national key R & D plan, the national marine fish industry technology system, the national modern agricultural standardization demonstration area, the independent innovation and achievement transformation project of Shandong Province, the science and technology development plan of Shandong Province, the improved agricultural variety project of Shandong Province, the major science and technology innovation project of Shandong Province, Yantai city Key R & D plan, etc. He applied for 18 patents, authorized 4 invention patents (2 for the first inventor), 12 utility model patents (2 for the first inventor). Published 16 scientific papers in core journals such as "Theriogenology", "Aquaculture Research", "AMB Express" and "Journal of Fisheries" since 2014; As the main participant, he won 5 awards at all levels including the second prize of Shandong Province Science and Technology Progress Award, the first prize of Agricultural Technology Promotion Achievement Award of the National Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fishery Harvest Award, and the second prize of marine science and technology.

Dr. Yang Wang

Wang Yang, professor and PhD supervisor, the leader of the young scientist innovation team of the College of Information and Electrical Engineering, China Agricultural University, the introduction of outstanding talents at China Agricultural University. He hosted or participated in more than 10 projects including the National Thousand Talents Program Youth Project, Innovate UK Major Project, China-EU Seventh Framework (FP7) Project, and China-UK Ministry of Science and Technology Key R&D Projects, Published more than 50 scientific research papers, and published 13 SCI papers as the first author (1 co-author) in the past five years, 12 of which are the top 10% of ESI, 7 of which are the top 5% of ESI in engineering field, the highest five-year impact factor is 11.2, the total impact factor is 87.9, and the average impact factor is 6.8. he has been engaged in research on user-side biological environment optimization and intelligent monitoring technology, 1) Constructed an indoor multi-parameter 3D/4D model based on the sensor monitoring network, realized real-time measurement and model correction, determined the best installation position of a single temperature and carbon dioxide sensor, it can reduce the cost and ensured the reliability of measurement. 2) Proposed a method of aquaculture data based on multi-source information fusion, and an information fusion model based on multi-sensor network is constructed, which solves the problem of coupling of multi-parameter in aquaculture environment is difficult to optimize. 3) Constructed a water CFD three-dimensional / four-dimensional numerical model and realized comprehensive prediction of the aquaculture environment.

Dr. Simeon Deguara

Project Leader

Dr. Simeon Deguara is the Contracted Research Organisation (CRO) Director at ABT Innovia, the research division of AquaBioTech Group. ABT Innovia is the largest private and independent aquatic research facility in Europe carrying out contractual industrial research in various aquatic fields, including fish nutrition, hatchery technology, fish health and production techniques. His role in ABT Innovia includes the macro level management and scientific oversight of the facility, as well as the design, coordination and reporting of the research conducted. He also heads all of the training and technical support operations for client’s projects which includes hosting interns and clients at our facility to provide practical training and experience in the operation of RAS units. He is a visiting lecturer in the University of Malta and the Research and Development Coordinator for the Federation of Maltese Aquaculture Producers.

Ran Zhao

Associate professor and PhD supervisor

Ran Zhao, associate professor and PhD supervisor, member of the young scientist innovation team of the College of Information and Electrical Engineering, China Agricultural University, served as the Secretary General of the Mechatronics and Robotics Subcommittee of the American Society of Agricultural Bioengineering (ASABE), presided over 2 provincial and ministerial projects, participated in a number of provincial and ministerial projects and international projects as a technical backbone, and published 20 SCI/EI papers in the past five years In the rest of the article, the main research direction is intelligent agricultural robots, including motion planning and control, underwater robots, machine vision, etc.
