China Agricultural University (CAU) is one of the top ranked key national universities in China. Project 211 is a project of National Key Universities and colleges initiated in 1995 by the Ministry of Education of China. The National Innovation Center for Digital Fishery, relying on the resources of “Agricultural Engineering” in China Agricultural University, was established by the Aquaculture IoT Innovation Team of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs in March 2019 with the approval of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs [Agricultural planning and development issued No. 2019-11] the only national innovation center in the field. The center currently has 1 Changjiang Scholar Distinguished Professor, 1 National Hundred and Thousand Talents Program, 1 National Ten Thousand Talents Program, 1 Young Thousand Talents, 2 New Century Talents from the Ministry of Education, 2 Beijing Science and Technology Rising Stars, 9 professors, and associate professors There are 12 people, 6 research assistants, 25 doctoral students and 86 master students. The team mainly focuses on advanced sensor technology, intelligent information processing technology, measurement and control systems and intelligent equipment, agricultural information strategy and other research directions. The team focuses on basic research on aquaculture Internet of Things application and research and development of key technology prototype products. Actively through internal training and external introduction, the basic theoretical research is closely integrated with engineering practice, independent research and development and international cooperation are combined, and talent training and scientific research are combined.
The center has published 305 academic papers in domestic and foreign journals in relevant field, including 220 SCI papers and 288 EI papers. It has published 13 Chinese and English monographs including “Introduction to Agricultural Internet of Things” and “Agriculture 4.0”. In the fields of aquaculture water sensors, measurement and control models and methods, and wireless measurement and control equipment, it has obtained 51 national authorized invention patents, and disclosed 47 national invention patents. It is the first to build a complete aquaculture IoT technology system, leading the domestic aquatic products the development direction of networking. Formulate 4 national standards, 5 industry standards, and 1 local standard for aquaculture sensing, perception data, transmission network, control equipment and other technologies. Participated in the formulation of international agricultural IoT standards, especially the formulation of international standards for agricultural applications, and created the Aquatic Products Network 2.0 working group with 13 working groups, initiated and established the China Fishery Internet of Things and Big Data Industry Innovation Alliance (China Smart Fishery Collaborative Innovation Platform), The products with independent intellectual property rights have been widely used in leading aquaculture companies such as Laizhou Mingbo, Sichuan Tongwei, Zhanjiang Guolian, Rongcheng Haodangjia, and Tianjin Haifa respectively.. Land-based factory farming has been promoted in 23 provinces and cities including Jiangsu, Tianjin, Shandong, Guangdong, Fujian, Guangxi, Ningxia, and Xinjiang. 6.3 million square meters, 8.25 million mu of ponds and offshore breeding, involving 31 breeding species.
